Last night, I had the pleasure of chatting with one of my Hufflepuff friends, Zoe. I’ve always expressed my frustration on here at the lack of technology at Hogwarts, but she helped me understand just why that was. I know a lot of things, but I don’t know everything, but Zoe always fills in my blanks! She explained to me that the reason technology doesn’t work in the Wizarding World is because magic and technology interfere with one another. That makes sense. It’s still frustrating, but upon consideration, I don’t think I’d trade anything for magic. Technology included!

Hello Hermione,
while I don’t know very much about magic personally as you do, I think I would agree with you that certain things are too precious to let technology ruin (for example, the simple joy of going for a walk at dusk–my closest encounter with magic).
